iris facilitates a peer learning teacher community where educators can collaboratively share insights, learn best practices, and support each other in creating inclusive classrooms.
This summer, we are offering a 4 session program for collective learning around culturally responsive teaching facilitated by experienced educators. Registration takes only 3 minutes!
Our Educator Learning Collective's dynamic summer 2024 program is designed to empower teachers through shared learning and reflections on culturally responsive education, asset-based teaching, and supporting diverse classrooms with a particular emphasis on immigrant students.
During this summer program, you will learn about the history, research, and theories about cultural responsiveness in education. Through interactive discussions and group workshops facilitated by experienced educators, we'll explore effective practices, address challenges, and develop actionable strategies for culturally responsive teaching. Participants will conclude the program with new insights on culturally responsive practices in the classroom, a white paper documenting ideas shared and discussed, and a community of fellow educators with a shared interest in supporting students and affirming their diverse backgrounds.
The program will take place over four virtual sessions scheduled on July 10th, July 17th, July 31st, and August 14th from 7-9 pm ET / 5-7pm MT / 4-6pm PT.
The last day to register for this program is Saturday, July 27 at 11:59 pm PT.
